A little History
JAcademy evolved from the Atlantis Technologies, Corp. - traditional training and consulting company specializing in Information Technology Education. Atlantis Technologies courses were taught in our classroom facilities in Arlington Heights and Chicago, IL. Atlantis Technologies being exclusive training provider to the Chicago Research and Planning group since 1991 serviced large number of the Chicago based companies in assisting during transitioning from legacy to distributing systems. Our courses were developed for Information Technology professionals in different roles: architects, business analysts, user interface designers, database managers and administrators, and developers.
JAcademy was established when our J2EE/WebSPhere curriculum was taught via the web to the Workforce Development agencies of the Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana.
The family of online courses was created to cover JavaScript and HTML, Java and Object Oriented Programming, web user interface design, business requirements documentation using UML, Agile and Rational Unified Methodology, Project Management for web development, Layered Architecture and Enterprise Architecture principals, WebSPhere Application Server and WebSphere Studio, and others.
We are not offering public enrollment at the present time. Please enquire about our course availability by contacting sales@jacademy.org
