| In today’s IT marketplace there are
numerous technologies, techniques, methodologies, abbreviations and coinages, that are
confusing even to seasoned professionals. One proven method of presenting your skills is to
acquire certification from a reputable source. Private companies in particular have shown a
preference for courses that award formal certification.

jCert is a new vendor-neutral certification program sponsored by such companies as IBM, SUN, BEA, and others. Its role in the marketplace today is one of providing a standard for "licensing" IT professionals. This procedure is established by certifying professionals for particular job roles. "Get certified once, recognized everywhere" is the usual formula. Other training vendors offer single-topic classes for all the courses required by jCert certification. JAcademy, on the other hand, has created a special program that prepares students for the “Enterprise Developer” job role jCert certifies. It is not just a combination of courses merged into one single point of information, but rather one single course covering all the subjects needed for all the exams jCert certification requires. (Please see the
.) All of the needed subject areas for jCert certification are blended into one comprehensive project. Students are not only prepared for certification, but also for job performance.

Project Management Institute has established well recognized standards for the Project Management job role, and has created a way of putting you onto the team of recognized Project Managers - getting certified by
PMI. The certification has been available for over a decade, and become important and widely internationally recognized in the last few years. We integrated preparation for that certification into our complete course for the Project Manager job role. Instead of creating a separate course for just that, we included the PMP certification body of knowledge, based on the instructions developed by the Project Management Institute, into our complete curriculum for Project
Managers.

After graduation from one of the jAcademy programs, and upon successful completion of all required tests built into the program, you will receive a certificate stating that you have successfully completed that program. The certificate kit includes a printed copy of the certificate and electronic logo, that can be included in your resume. There are certain criteria for receiving a graduation certification. You must complete all course tests and score at least 80% on each. You can repeat the tests as many times as you wish - that is not counted against you. You can ask your personal instructor any questions you desire, but course certification will only be conferred upon successful completion of all required tests/quizzes . Some quizzes are optional, which means they are not counted towards your score. The jAcademy graduation certificate, means to your employers and potential employers that you have learned the material within the course. That is the major requirement for the certification, and that is what makes the certification valuable.
